As the Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, approaches, we at BIGLUX are excited to celebrate this cherished tradition. In 2025, we welcome the Year of the Snake, an important zodiac symbol in Chinese culture. The snake represents wisdom, resilience, and transformation, qualities that inspire us as we embrace new opportunities and challenges in the year ahead.

The Significance of Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is the most important holiday in Chinese culture, symbolizing family reunions, gratitude, and fresh beginnings. This festival, which follows the lunar calendar, is celebrated with vibrant traditions such as decorating homes with red lanterns, giving red envelopes (hongbao), and enjoying festive meals. Each practice reflects the hope for good fortune, health, and happiness in the coming year.

How Chinese New Year is Celebrated

Across China and in communities worldwide, celebrations typically last for 15 days, culminating in the Lantern Festival. Families gather to enjoy traditional dishes like dumplings and hotpot, light fireworks, and participate in lion and dragon dances. These customs honor cultural heritage while expressing hope for a prosperous future.

Our Holiday Schedule

Holiday Dates: Our office will be closed from January 23rd to February 4th, 2025, and normal operations will resume on February 5th, 2025.

While production will pause during this time, we remain committed to supporting our global customers. Our team will be available throughout the holiday period to handle inquiries, project consultations, and provide assistance as needed.
