Longi unveils new 415W residential and commercial solar panels

The 54-cell module was unveiled at RE+ Anaheim with a power output of 415W and an efficiency of 21.3%.

Longi, a global solar panel manufacturer, unveiled a new solar module designed for residential and commercial applications in the United States on RE+. It will be available in early 2023, first as a single face module, then as a double face module.

Hi-mo 5 54 unit module uses the new market standard M10 182 mm single crystal wafer. The module has a power output of up to 415W with a maximum efficiency of 21.3%.

The hi-mo 5 series has been sold to more than 600 customers in more than 90 countries, with cumulative shipments of more than 30GW. The new 54-cell version is suitable for residential applications.

The advanced PERC Gallium doped P-type half-cut cell module supports a 12-year material and machining warranty and a 25-year linear power output warranty. The double-sided edition will include a double glass design and carry a 12-year material and machining warranty and a 30-year linear power output warranty.

The Hi-MO 5 54 cell weighs less than 50 pounds. This makes it perfect for roofs. It is compatible with standard module shelving and mounting systems. It is also compatible with module-grade power electronics, including Enphase microinverters and SolarEdge power optimizers, as well as mainstream string inverters.
